Bayeux travesty! Packed migrant mega-dinghy's 38-hour crossing from Normandy to the UK - escorted by the French navy

It started from Port-en-Bessin, north of Bayeux in Normandy, just before 10am on Monday, and the occupants arrived in Kent after midnight following reports they had been bound for Hampshire.
