Tour de France Femmes: Reusser aces stage four time trial to snatch yellow jersey

The world time-trial champion, Marlen Reusser, took the overall lead in the Tour de France Femmes after winning the fourth stage from Gevrey-Chambertin to Dijon.

It was the 34-year-old Swiss rider’s third career win in the Tour and lifted her into a commanding lead over the defending champion, Pauline ­Ferrand-Prévot. Reusser, a specialist in racing against the clock, now leads the pre-race favourite Demi ­Vollering by 14 seconds, with the 2024 Tour winner, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, 1min 9sec further back.
