Hey everyone, i’m a pretty new developer, still in high school, and i want to build an alternative to file conversion apps like the one i linked.

it would be maybe terminal based or have a small gui, and the main idea is speed. so you can easily select 1 or multiple files, and quickly convert them.

it would be open source and free for everyone. i want to learn some Go so i probably will build it with that. unless anyone has any better ideas.

so is this a good idea? like would people find it as a useful free alternative or does this idea kind of already exist?
