Been thinking about this lately. Every time I merge a PR, I know I should update the changelog but honestly I either forget, do it days later from memory, or write something generic like "bug fixes and improvements."

Curious what other devs actually do:

• Do you write changelogs at all?
• Do you tie it to PRs manually, or use some automation?
• Has anyone tried auto-generating them from commit messages / PR descriptions?

Not selling anything, genuinely trying to understand if this is just me being lazy or a real workflow problem.
