MTA to move forward with Second Ave subway work, despite Trump's push to kill the project

A portion of the Second Avenue subway that was dug out in East Harlem in the 1970s. That project was canceled amid the city's financial crisis.

The MTA plans to get approval for a $1.1 billion contract from the agency's board next week. But officials said if a judge rules against the agency in a lawsuit, they'll have to nix the deal. [ more › ]
