Police officer who killed woman, 74, after jumping a red light on way to emergency for baby choking tells jury it was a 'tragic accident'

Muriel Pinkney, 74, died in the hospital several days after the bike she was travelling on was hit by PC Mark Roberts, 57, near the Metrocentre in Gateshead in July 2022, Teesside Crown Court heard.
