'Jennifer, you've been the worst': Hegseth snaps at ex-colleague from Fox News

Former Fox News personality and current Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth snapped at a former colleague at a Pentagon press conference on Thursday morning.

After opening press availability with an almost 15-minute diatribe aimed at the press, Hegseth turned the lectern over to the Pentagon's Joint Chief of Staff Dan Caine to describe the Iran bombing operation.

Following that, he asked for questions from the reporters he had previously said were "spinning" the news against Donald Trump.

That was when he called on longtime Fox News Pentagon reporter Jennifer Griffin who asked about one of the bombing sites.

"Photos that showed more than a dozen trucks there two days in advance," she began. "Are you certain none of that highly enriched uranium was moved?"

"Of course, we're watching every single aspect," Hegseth fired back before adding, "But, Jennifer, you've been about the worst. The one who misrepresents the most intentionally what, what, the president says."

As she protested, he talked over her before allowing her to say, "... about the ventilation shafts on Saturday night. And, in fact, I was the first to describe the B-2 bombers, the refueling, the entire mission, with great accuracy. So I take issue with that."
