'Unprepared': GOP lawmaker nixes Tucker Carlson interview after Ted Cruz debacle

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) has reportedly canceled an interview with Tucker Carlson after Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) talk with the MAGA influencer went down in flames.

Political analyst Dominic Michael Tripi reported on Thursday that Fine had backed out of the interview.

"Rep. Randy Fine was allegedly scheduled to interview with Tucker Carlson but the interview was cancelled at the recommendation of AIPAC, Ben Shapiro, others feeling he was 'unprepared,'" Tripi wrote on X.

The news comes just days after Carlson grilled Cruz for not knowing the population of Iran.

"You don't know the population of the country you seek to topple?" Carlson pressed. "How could you not know that?"
